Why did they change Las to 67? Especially when cop is 65, makes zero sense.

If a person is born Sept 1959 if their are changes when should I receive GDP and oas
My friend is receiving WSIB until 65 which is Dec 2024. I thought he would be phased in at +11 mths but today he rec’d. OAS application. Is he exempt from phase in?
How unfair that we must endure work for longer and have no reward for our contributions to our country when many of us by that age are too sick. HOW AWFUL THAT CANADA GOVERNMENT HOPES WE ARE DEAD SO WE CAN NOT ENJOY OUR OLD AGE OR ANY OF OUR INVESTMENTS INTO THIS COUNTRY
