Krispy Kreme is celebrating National Donut Day by giving out free donuts.
Unfortunately, Canada doesn’t actively celebrate National Donut Day, unlike the United States, which is flooded with offers of free donuts from dozens of stores and restaurants. Tim Hortons isn’t offering so much as a Timbit to nibble on.

But for today only, you can pop by a Krispy Kreme store and get any donut for free. That is, if you live in one of the provinces where the stores are located: Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia.
If you’d like to exercise to burn off some calories from your free donuts, try some free dancing. The National Ballet School intends to get everyone’s feet moving for its Sharing Dance Day, a free, nationwide event to encourage kids to keep active through dance. It also doubles as a fundraiser for the organization’s year-round dance programs, which it says is to make dance more accessible to people of all ages.
The Day is being celebrated in both Toronto and Winnipeg, and are marked with both amateur and professional dance performances, free dance classes, and a live band.
