A still shaky economy isn’t stopping Canadians from investing in their retirement. According to a recent Investor’s Group poll, Canadians invested 5% more of their money in an Registered Retirement Savings Plan in 2009 than the year before.
The survey also revealed that 37% of those who contributed to their RRSP said they also put money into a TFSA, while 31% of Canadians opened new accounts.
