Apple lovers on a budget can get their fix by buying one of these unlocked devices second-hand for a lot less money.
Since the new iPhone 5S and 5C were announced on Sept. 10, online classified website Kijiji has seen a 36% surge in search traffic related to iPhones, with Canada-wide daily searches jumping up to 32,633. Of the more than 29,000 iPhone ads currently on the site across the country, more than 9,000 of them for the iPhone 5. Similarly, Craigslist had more than 900 ads for the iPhone 5 in the GTA alone Wednesday. The average selling price for an iPhone 5 on Kijiji? $463 compared to the $600 price tag on the forthcoming iPhone 5C.
