Very interesting article, I am in the situation of not collecting my OAS as it will be clawed back and it make sense what you said about not losing 7000 a year but the after tax portion.
Very week said. I was in this dilemma a few years back. Thought of changing financial planners. But after reading and doing research, my planner was doing exactly as described in this article. Comfort and feeling like your financial needs are being taken care of are priority one. I have a fee based planner and even though the fees seems high, it’s worth every penny.
