Express Entry is an online application process for skilled workers who wish to immigrate to Canada. Learn more in the MoneySense Glossary.
Express Entry is a points-based, fast-tracked immigration system that invites skilled economic immigrants to apply for permanent residency in Canada. The system was designed to fill Canada’s economic and labour market needs.
Those who apply to Express Entry are assigned a score based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), which includes factors such as age, education, work experience and language proficiency.
