We recently sold our home and this did not sit well with me. Wondering if our agents did their job. We got an offer conditional on an inspection. The report came back with 5 minor issues. At this point they asked to reduce their offer $2500 as they assumed that there was a basement bathroom rough in. This was not part of the listing details. They also asked for caulking in the shower, professional cleaning of the entire house, professional carpet cleaning, wall patching and duct cleaning. Our agents said this was pretty standard and should agree to their final offer.
