Hello. I am interested in finding out some answers to my question regarding property titles within the family. Years ago my father stepped in to a situation with his daughter and her ex husband. My father decided to buy in to half of her house to help relieve her of some of the financial difficulties at the time. That was many years ago and now my sister is asking to have the house solely in her name. Is that possible and what are the consequences if any? My father is 90 years old, would it benefit us all as a family if he decided to put the house solely in my sister’s name? Thank you for taking the time to discuss these questions.

Hello. I want to add my son to my rental condo title. It is not my primary residence. I do have a Will, I just want to make a quick title transfer after my dearth. Do I need to pay Land transfer tax or any other fees or capital gain taxes?
