I think when it comes to every element of a real estate contract, no matter who wrote it up, even the Offer, it should be reviewed with a real estate lawyer before signing. A good real estate lawyer shouldn’t be offended by that.
*I meant “a good realtor shouldn’t be offended by that”.
Just mistakingly proved my own point that errors can be made.
Realtors over inflate the value they bring to the table. Real Estate boards are outdated organizations which don’t benefit consumers, in fact they harm them by offering a service without substance.
Canadians pay dearly for this idea that they cannot sell their homes on their own and we totally can. All we need is a computer and a lawyer.
With incredible access now to information and technology, for most of us, selling our homes it’s totally manageable.
